Hermione Granger makes quite an impression on
Harry and
Ron when they meet her for the first time. Hermione is Muggle-born; her
parents are dentists. Hermione spends all of her time reading and studying every single book about the wizarding world. She is constantly
spouting facts and trivia about the wizarding world, much to the dismay of Harry and Ron. But Harry and Ron soon discover
the value of having a caring friend who will keep your conscience in check. Hermione is one of Harry's best friends and is
with him through everything.The D.A. was originally her idea, as was the Polyjuice Potion plan. In the 4th year, she attends
the Yule Ball with
Viktor Krum, but there is speculation as to whether or not she and Ron may like each other. In addition to helping Harry and Ron with
their school work, she also gives them much needed advice about girls. Hermione's birthday is September 19th and she has a
ginger-colored cat called Crookshanks.
