The Triwizard Tornament is a competition when three wizarding schools compete for glory. There are three tasks, Get the Golden Egg, Underwater Rescue, and a Maze being the three the Harry took place in. There is usually only one witch or wizard picked from each school but in Harry's case, four players were chosen. Let the games begin!

The Golden Egg:

This Triwizard activity is the first in book four. All Triwizard Champions picked a minature dragon from a cloth bag. Of the various dragons, Harry picked the Hungarian Horntail (Hung-air-e-un), the most dangerous. Harry practiced with Hermione and practiced his technique. He summoned his broom with 'accio'. He haphazardly flew around Hogwarts with the loose dragon. But he finally reached his goal and got the Golden Egg that the dragon was gaurding.

Underwater Rescue: One of each contestants' close friends were taken to the bottom of the Hogwarts' lake. the contestants were given one hour to retrieve their friends. The spells that they used were:

Fluer & Cedric: Bubblemouth

Harry: Gilliweed

Victor: Sharkhead

Fluer does not retrive her sister so Harry does it for her, along with Ron.

The Maze:

Hargrid makes a maze of plants outside of Hogwarts. Along with getting to the middle of the maze, contestants had to get past boggarts and other bewitchments. In the end, Harry and Cedric get to the cup together and get transported to Tom Riddle's graveyard. Cedric suffers a teribble accident(I won't give it away all you non readers)due to Voldemort.

The Contestants

Fluer Delacour(Fler Dell-a-core)-

Task1= Fluer was given the Welsh Green

Task2=Fluer's sister was taken

Fluer Delacour belongs to the Bauex Batons Academy with her headmistress being Madame Maxine. She has a sister that also attends.

Victor Krum-

Task1=He was given the Chinese Fireball

Task2=Hermione was taken

Victor belongs to Durmstrang with his headmaster being Egoyre Gargalauf. He is a famous Quidditch player, and played in the Quidditch Cup.

Cedric Diggory-

Task1=He was given the Swedish Short-Snout

Task2=Cho Chang was taken

Cedric belongs to Hogwarts with his headmaster being Albus Dumbledore.

Harry Potter-

Task1-He was given the Hungarian Horntail

Task2=Ron was taken

While Harry is only 14, you must be 17 to be in the Triwizard Tornament. Someone older than 17 slipped his name in the Cup.
